Un nuovo grande evento della nostra Associazione... negli Stati Uniti! In occasione dell'annuale ricorrenza del “Columbus Day”, renderemo omaggio all’importante contributo fornito dalla comunità calabrese alla società americana e al ruolo che la cultura e le tradizioni della nostra Regione hanno svolto nell’ambito della formazione dell’odierna identità statunitense.
Rinsaldando i legami fra la Calabria e i calabresi d’America, l'evento intende promuovere fra di essi, e all’interno dell’ancor più vasta comunità italo-americana, il patrimonio storico, culturale e gastronomico della nostra regione, valorizzando le eccellenze, le peculiarità e le indiscutibili potenzialità calabresi.
Allo stesso modo verrà dato risalto alle eccellenze calabresi d’America, cioè alle importanti iniziative realizzate e ai rilevanti traguardi raggiunti da alcuni illustri rappresentanti della nostra Regione, in particolare attraverso il conferimento del Premio di “Man of the year” (Uomo dell'anno).
Farà naturalmente da cornice una Cena di Gala curata dall’Ass. Prof. Cuochi Calabresi e finalizzata a celebrare i più rinomati prodotti tipici e le più apprezzate ricette della nostra Regione, rivisitate alla luce del gusto contemporaneo.
Anche la colonna sonora dell'evento sarà in sintonia con questa proiezione positiva del “Made in Calabria” grazie all'inconfondibile stile degli Hostarianumeroquattro, che giungeranno direttamente dall'Italia con il loro irresistibile repertorio, che spazia dalla musica popolare alle più recenti hit della musica contemporanea.

A great new event of our Association... in the United States! On the occasion of the annual Columbus Day, we will pay tribute to the important contribution made by the Calabrian community to American society and to the role that the culture and traditions of our Region have played in the formation of today's American identity.
By strengthening the ties between Calabria and the Calabrians of America, the event intends to promote among them, and within the still larger Italian-American community, the historical, cultural and gastronomic heritage of our region, enhancing the excellence, the peculiarities and the unquestionable potentialities of Calabria.
In the same way, the Calabrian excellences of America will be emphasized, that is to say the important initiatives carried out and the relevant achievements reached by some illustrious representatives of our Region, in particular through the awarding of the "Man of the year".
It will naturally be the setting for a Gala Dinner organized by the Ass. Prof. Cuochi Calabresi and aimed at celebrating the most renowned typical products and the most appreciated recipes of our Region, revisited in the light of contemporary taste.
Even the soundtrack of the event will be in tune with this positive projection of "Made in Calabria" thanks to the unmistakable style of Hostarianumeroquattro, which will come directly from Italy with their irresistible repertoire, which ranges from popular music to the most recent hits of the contemporary music.
